James "Wanted" MacAvoy Biography

McAvoy was raised in Drumchapel, Glasgow, by his grandparents after his father, also called James and a roofer by trade, abandoned his mother when James Jr. was 7. He went to St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary in Jordanhill, Glasgow, where he did well enough and started "a little school band with a couple of mates". McAvoy toyed with the idea of the Catholic priesthood as a child but when he was 16, a visit to the school by actor David Hayman sparked an interest in acting. Hayman offered him a part in his film The Near Room (1995) but despite enjoying the experience McAvoy didn't seriously consider acting as a career, though he did continue to act as a member of PACE Youth Theatre. He took the place at RSAMD and when he graduated in 2000, he moved to London. He'd already made a couple of TV appearances by this time and continued to get a steady stream of TV and movie work until he came to British public attention in 2004 playing Steve McBride in the successful UK TV series "Shameless" (2004) and then to the rest of the world in 2005 as Mr Tumnus in Disney's adaptation of 'C. S. Lewis''s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005).

Valeria "Human Barbie"Lukyanova

Ukrainian native Valeria Lukyanova may not look like a real person, but with the help of a little eye makeup and a tiny waist the model/singer has been able to fool people the world over. Photos of the Moldavian-born Lukyanova, called the 'human Barbie', took the internet by storm earlier this year, and many questioned whether she existed or was just a very well done computer generated image. There's also been lots of speculation over whether or not she's had plastic surgery to attain her looks (she claims she hasn't had any and only uses makeup and contact lenses to attain her somewhat Japanese Anime look). "It's unclear whether Lukyanova exists at all, or whether it's all a hoax thanks to the world of photo editing," reported ABC News when Valeria's photos were posted online by website Gawker.com.

Sean "James Bond" Connery Biography

Actor. Born Thomas Sean Connery on August 25, 1930 in Fountainbridge, Scotland. The son of Joe, a truck driver, and Euphamia, a 20-year-old housewife, Connery had a modest upbringing in a neighborhood known as "the street of a thousand smells" for the stench of the local rubber mill and several breweries that always filled the air. His home was a two-room flat in "tenement land," where the infant slept in a bureau drawer because his parents couldn't afford a crib. "We were very poor," Connery has commented, "but I never knew how poor because that's how everyone was there." Joe brought home only a few shillings a week, and those were often spent on whiskey or gambling. After Bond, Sean Connery continued to work regularly—The Man Who Would Be King (1975), Robin and Marian (1976), The Great Train Robbery (1979), Time Bandits (1981), and The Name of the Rose (1986)—and finally won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as a Chicago cop on the trail of Al Capone in 1987's The Untouchables. His career continued forward with no signs of slowing down. He played the father of the title character in Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) and, in 1990, Connery played a defecting Russian submarine captain Marko Ramius in The Hunt for Red October. Other films include Medicine Man (1992); his prison action-adventure, The Rock (1996) with Nicolas Cage; as well as The Avengers (1998) with Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman; Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991); First Knight (1995); and Dragonheart (1996). He played a cat burglar in the love story-thriller Entrapment (1999) with Catherine Zeta-Jones. In 2000, he starred in the film Finding Forrester and in 2003, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. He's been called "the rogue with the brogue", and at almost 60 years of age in 1989, was named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive." But while his professional work is applauded, his personal choices have often come under fire. "I'm not shy about voicing what I believe to be true," he said in 1998 when he was denied a British knighthood due to his active support for the Scottish National Party. (He was later knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000.) In 1999, Connery also received a Kennedy Center Honor for Lifetime Achievement. After decades in the spotlight, Connery remains a street-smart, self-made man who never apologizes, and time doesn't seem to have mellowed him. Sir Sean Connery, with his charm, sex appeal, and trademark braggadocio, credits none other than himself for his success and longevity. But he acknowledges a debt to his fans as well. "Everything I've done has had to be accomplished in my own cycle, my own time, on my own behalf, and with my own sweat," he has said. "But if people hadn't liked what I was doing, I'd probably be delivering milk today—and I never forget that.

Brad Pitt Biography

One of the hottest men in Hollywood, this Oklahoma-born blond appeared in a handful of TV-movies and guest spots before becoming an overnight sensation with his sexy supporting turn as a robber in Thelma & Louise in 1991. Pitt graduated to leading roles in the Western Legends of the Fall and the bloodsucking blockbuster Interview with a Vampire, both in 1994, prompting People magazine to crown him the "Sexiest Man Alive" the next year. Pitt was again voted People's "sexiest man alive" in 2000. Finally ready to embrace his hunk status, Pitt played a suave, suit-clad criminal in Ocean's Eleven and a stunning shirtless warrior in Troy. He was more often in the spotlight thanks to his high-profile romances, including broken engagements to actresses Juliette Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow, and a seemingly perfect marriage to Jennifer Aniston that ended in 2005. She filed for divorce after rumors circulated that he had taken up with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie. In 2006, after months of tabloid coverage of "Brangelina" flying around the globe fighting for human rights and adopting children, the couple revealed that Jolie was pregnant with Pitt's child.

Mark Wahlberg Biography

Actor, former rapper. Born June 5, 1971, in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Wahlberg grew up the youngest of nine children in a working class Irish Catholic family in the Boston district of Dorchester. Mark Wahlberg's parents divorced when he was 11; his mother has since blamed her own emotional neglect for her youngest son's descent into juvenile delinquency during the next several years. At 14, Wahlberg dropped out of school and began making his living on the streets—hustling, stealing, and selling drugs. Two years later, he hit rock bottom when he was jailed for his role in the savage beating of a Vietnamese man. Although the crime was believed by many to be racially motivated, Wahlberg has continually denied that race played a part in the attack. His 45-day stint in prison was a self-proclaimed turning point in the 16-year-old Wahlberg's life. Vowing to give himself some direction in his life, he also began body building seriously, chiseling his body into impressive form

Lady Gaga Protest in Philippines

She’s definitely known for her racy image and sexually-suggestive music, and it seems Lady Gaga is persona non grata in Manila, Philippines. According to a report, the “Bad Romance” songstress is supposed to play a pair of gigs in the city next week, but approximately 70 teens gathered to protest the upcoming concerts.Mayor Antonio Calixto told press that the shows will go on, though everything had better be up to snuff on Gaga’s end. “We reminded the producers of Lady Gaga’s concert that the show and the event as a whole shall not exhibit any nudity or lewd conduct which may be offensive to morals and good customs.” Readmore story :http://celebrity-gossip.net/lady-gaga/lady-gaga-faces-protests-philippines-643182

Lady Gaga "devasted"

Lady Gaga has cancelled a concert in the Indonesian capital Jakarta, citing security concerns after protests by religious groups. The singer said she was "devastated" at the decision. Police in Indonesia had refused to issue a permit for the US pop star after Islamic groups objected to her show, claiming it was too vulgar. The hardline Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) had threatened to try to stop Lady Gaga getting off the plane. Indonesia is officially secular but has more Muslims than any other country. More than 50,000 tickets had been sold for the 3 June event. Promoters said they would offer refunds. Police had said they would only issue permits for the concert - part of Gaga's Born This Way Ball concept tour - if the flamboyant singer agreed to tone things down. Instead, her management pulled the plug on the show. Readmore story :http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-18224783

Lady Gaga Concert Canceled

thehollywoodgossip.com: Lady Gaga is so terrified that Islamic terrorists might attack her and/or her mega-concert in Indonesia, she cancelled the upcoming show, her reps confirmed. Gaga's management team announced today there were major security concerns regarding the June 3 gig in Jakarta, the nation's capital city. Extremists were calling to ban Gaga, fearing that her risque costumes, song lyrics and embrace of homosexuality would corrupt Muslim youths. The Indonesian Council of Ulema chairman, Cholil Ridwan, fervently urged a boycott, saying Gaga "intends to destroy the nation's morality."

Jennifer Promises "a lot of penises' and 'breasticles' in 'wanderlust'

news.celebritywonder.com: Jennifer Aniston promises ''a lot of penises'' and ''breasticles'' in ''Wanderlust''. The actress stars as a woman who decides to quit her life and head to a nudist colony in the new romantic comedy, and assured viewers will get to see plenty of naked shots of her and her co-stars.

She told talk show host Chelsea Handler: ''There's a lot of penises in this movie! Finally, for once, the men have to disrobe! Trust me, there is your fair share of breasticles as well. Penises are promised.''

Chelsea also remarked to Jennifer: ''I've been lucky enough to see you topless in our private life, but now America, when they go to see the movie, will get to see her topless running!''

The 43-year-old star replied: ''There's a lot of nudity. And a lot of slow motion action nudity!''

Jennifer - who is dating Justin Theroux, who also appears in the film - has previously admitted she was nervous when she prepared for her nude scenes, but quickly adapted when it came to it.

She said: ''There was a little bit of nerves, but adrenaline takes you through it. And then, you have the girls come in and cover you up, immediately. But I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. Shockingly, it was bizarre how at ease we became with having a bunch of naked people everywhere.''

Jessica Biel: Showing Off Justin Timberlake's Engagement Ring?

Jessica Biel flaunted a very special accessory while out celebrating in New York City Saturday night.

More than a month since news broke of her engagement to Justin Timberlake, the actress was spotted wearing what appeared to be her engagement ring – and getting cozy with her man – at a Saturday Night Live after-party.

This would mark the first time Biel went out in public with her sparkler – never mind a rare public display of affection for the couple who don't often step out together.

The couple, who started dating in 2007, celebrated Timberlake's appearance on SNL as Grammy-winning folk sensation Bon Iver with guests such as Evan Rachel Wood and rumored fiancé Jamie Bell, Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton, David Alan Grier, Seth Meyers, Chloë Sevigny, Natasha Lyonne, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kenan Thompson and the show's host and alum, Maya Rudolph.

Also spending time with the couple: former SNL star Amy Poehler and current cast mate Kristen Wiig, who, according to the source, "loved the ring and chatted [Biel] up about it." Readmore story...
