Brad Pitt Biography

One of the hottest men in Hollywood, this Oklahoma-born blond appeared in a handful of TV-movies and guest spots before becoming an overnight sensation with his sexy supporting turn as a robber in Thelma & Louise in 1991. Pitt graduated to leading roles in the Western Legends of the Fall and the bloodsucking blockbuster Interview with a Vampire, both in 1994, prompting People magazine to crown him the "Sexiest Man Alive" the next year. Fearing the label would limit his career, Pitt took on intense, often offbeat roles that proved he was more than just a pretty boy, such as a mentally unstable animal rights activist in 12 Monkeys (which earned him an Oscar nod) and the leader of an underground society in Fight Club. Pitt was again voted People's "sexiest man alive" in 2000. Finally ready to embrace his hunk status, Pitt played a suave, suit-clad criminal in Ocean's Eleven and a stunning shirtless warrior in Troy. He was more often in the spotlight thanks to his high-profile romances, including broken engagements to actresses Juliette Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow, and a seemingly perfect marriage to Jennifer Aniston that ended in 2005. She filed for divorce after rumors circulated that he had taken up with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie. In 2006, after months of tabloid coverage of "Brangelina" flying around the globe fighting for human rights and adopting children, the couple revealed that Jolie was pregnant with Pitt's child.

Cruise's mother was an amateur actress and schoolteacher, and his father was an electrical engineer. His family moved around a great deal when Cruise was a child in order to accommodate his father's career. Cruise's parents divorced when he was 11, and the children moved with their mother to Louisville, Kentucky, and then to Glen Ridge, New Jersey, after her remarriage. Like his mother and three sisters, Cruise suffered from dyslexia, which made academic success difficult for him. Jason Statham Biography

English born, Syndenham, London raised, Statham is the second son of a dancer and a lounge singer. Although he had artistic talent running through his veins, he instead focused on his athletic abilities at the high dive. His diving abilities were so impressive that he joined the British Olympic team in 1988 in Seoul, Korea. After 10 years in the National Diving Squad, a talent agent led him to the modeling industry. His modeling career doubled for his work on the street as a salesman of stolen and fake goods. "I was a sort of fly pitcher street corner con man who sold jewellery and perfume out of a briefcase for many years." Interestingly enough, this is how he met director Guy Ritchie who ended up launching his career in the Indie hit, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Guy had been convinced by Statham to buy his worthless merchandise, and when he tried to return it, Statham was so graciously inflexible that Ritchie hired him. "When he met me, he had written Lock Stock and had a part that was pretty much bang on to me. He wanted an authentic kind of character, and that was me, because they don't teach you that kind of thing in drama school". Read more bio...
